This past weekend Mike and I went to Las Vegas for a weekend getaway! It was just what we needed... four days without the kiddos, to spend time with each other and just be carefree. It was pretty much awesome! We had so much fun... and on top of that, we stayed with our best friends that live there so it was great to be able to see them and spend time with them. On Saturday we went to Brians Beach and had all you can eat sushi and it was SO delicious, I wish there was one here in CO because Im pretty sure Id be there every week (and probably be 50lbs. heavier!). After the sushi we went to see Lance Burton at the Monte Carlo. It was a lot of fun, we have never been to a Vegas show before so it was neat trying something new.
We sure missed being away from the girls though... it was so much fun seeing them when we got back. Its funny as parents you always want a break but at the same time being away from them is hard! All in all we had a fabulous time and cant wait to do it again!
