Thanks for remembering Hurricane Katrina. It is close to my heart since we had to deal with it personally. I still miss the coast and wish we were there watching its regrowth. Don't forget about MS. We lost most of our homes, schools, and towns. Pictures and video can never truely describe the scenes there. This picture is of one of my students I used to teach and mentor. He was in 1st grade. You should have heard his story! It always tears me up to see this picture! Thanks again for posting and reminding people that it is still a growing process for MS, LA, and AL.(It won't let me post the picture here, so hopefully the link works)
